Pepe Imaz Course for a Life with Greater Harmony

Starting October 17, 2026

Information about the Course: "A Life with Greater Harmony and Happiness" – Learning to Free Myself from Guilt, Sadness, Loneliness, Insecurity, Low Self-Esteem, Emptiness...

Hello!

My name is Pepe, and there was a great deal of suffering in my life from the age of 11 until I was 18, when I reached the point of wanting to stop living. Fear, self-hatred, insecurity, a lack of meaning in life, loneliness, guilt, and many other painful emotions accompanied me every day. I carried them with me everywhere, unable to free myself from them. Without realizing it, I was allowing them to steal my life away, and I had no idea how to stop it.

When I was around 17 or 18 years old, in the midst of battling bulimia, I clearly realized that I had a problem and began searching for help. I first turned to psychology and self-help books, and a few months later I sought professional support. I came to understand very well what was happening to me, and I gained an even deeper understanding of the traumatic experiences from my childhood that had led me into such profound suffering that I no longer wanted to live.

However, despite all the knowledge I acquired through studying the mind and emotions—which certainly brought me some relief—I still felt an overwhelming emptiness, pain, guilt, and many other emotions that continued to push me toward destroying my own life.

Then something changed.

Deep within my being, I realized that what was truly destroying me was something both incredibly simple and absolutely essential:

LOVE for myself.

From that very moment, I began carrying out daily experiments with myself, learning how to genuinely feel more love toward who I was.

That discovery literally saved my life.

It also gave me the desire, purpose, and joy to truly live.

For more than 33 years now, I have continued along this simple yet immensely powerful path of nourishing myself with the medicine that heals every emotional wound:

LOVE.

This naturally led me to begin sharing what I had learned with the young people I coached. (I was a professional tennis player before becoming a coach.)

I watched those young athletes who suffered as I once had begin to feel better about themselves remarkably quickly. At the same time, their tennis improved dramatically, as did their personal relationships.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with many elite athletes as well as people outside the world of sports who were facing difficult emotional circumstances.

For several years now, I have also been giving talks to groups interested in personal growth.

I created a course for the Spanish Royal Tennis Federation (RFET) focused on emotions in both competition and everyday life.

During the two years I have taught it, the experience has been extraordinary. Players, parents, and coaches have all attended. However, because the course was organized through the RFET, many people were unable to participate.

This year I felt it was the right time to organize the course myself, together with my team, so that anyone who wishes to know themselves more deeply can embark on this wonderful journey of self-care, self-discovery, and emotional healing from all the burdens we carry in our hearts and on our shoulders.

It is difficult to explain everything that happens during the nearly nine months the course lasts. The experience goes far beyond words.

However, I would like to share some testimonials from people who have already completed this inner journey.

If you would also like to know more about my life and my path, and gain a clearer understanding of what you can expect from this course, you can find it in my book:

"The Art of Training Your Mind", published by Vergara (Penguin Random House).

In this book, I openly share my personal journey—from the deepest darkness to gradually finding my way out through learning to LOVE, RESPECT, and ACCEPT myself.

TESTIMONIALS

Carmen

Good afternoon,

I hope and sincerely wish that you are all doing very well.

My name is Carmen, and this is the second time I have taken part in this course.

I couldn't be more grateful because, for me, it has become a way to reconnect with myself and continue walking through life while learning, observing, growing, and becoming more aware. It has helped me know myself better, love myself more, accept myself more, and allow myself to simply be.

I truly feel that what this course offers is priceless. In fact, it's difficult to put into words everything it has given me.

This past year has brought many changes into my life, including hormonal changes, and having this knowledge and understanding has made everything feel lighter. Instead of feeling lost, I now have a much clearer sense of where I feel I should be heading.

For me, every session is pure gold.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to attend this afternoon because of work, and I honestly wish I could split myself in two so I wouldn't have to miss it. But this time, it simply isn't possible.

If I had to mention one small suggestion—always respecting everyone's time—it would be to receive the recording of each session a little sooner. Whenever I can't attend, I'd love to be able to listen to it as soon as possible.

That said, I completely understand and respect everyone's schedule.

I send you all a warm hug, and I sincerely hope you continue with a third edition of the course.

I truly feel that I keep growing through this experience and that it gives me an immeasurable amount.

And thank you, Pepe, because through you and the wisdom you share, I am finding my way back to myself.

Silvia

Good afternoon,

When I enrolled in the course, I thought you were going to teach us practical tools to help our students manage their emotions on the tennis court.

What I found was something far greater.

I entered a space where every person gradually opened up emotionally, acknowledging their fears, weaknesses, and unmet needs. Witnessing that made me question my own life and the way I had been living it.

I have begun taking my first steps toward no longer demanding perfection from myself in every area of my life.

I am learning to forgive my mistakes, to learn from them, and even to laugh at them.

Most importantly, I realized that the first person who needed love, understanding, and forgiveness was me.

I feel liberated.

I love myself just as I am.

I know there is still much for me to learn, but I will allow myself to move forward slowly, without deadlines or unrealistic expectations.

I make mistakes—just like everyone else.

So what?

I lose more often than I win.

So what?

Every morning when I wake up, I give thanks.

Every night before going to bed, I think about all the beautiful moments the day has given me: time shared with family and friends, water, fresh air, sunshine...

I have realized that everything is borrowed.

Nothing truly belongs to me.

My responsibility is to take care of myself and to care for everything around me, leaving it as good as—or even better than—I found it for those who come after us.

I now see the people around me differently.

Whenever possible, I try to greet them with a smile.

More often than not, they smile back.

Everything flows more naturally at home, at work, and with friends.

And when life doesn't go quite as planned, it no longer feels like a tragedy.

I have learned to allow myself to have bad days.

Nothing is wrong with that.

In fact, they help me appreciate all the good days even more.

During this course I have felt freer than I have in many years, even compared to being with family or close friends.

It is a place for growth without judgment.

I have learned to love myself and to offer that same love to others.

I have also discovered that there is a profound difference between simply loving someone and truly embracing them with unconditional love.

And I have learned that loving yourself is not selfish.

It is a necessity.

After all, we are the one person we will spend our entire lives with.

I have nothing but gratitude for Pepe and for every person who participated in the course and shared themselves so openly.

THANK YOU!

I only wish I had begun this journey ten years earlier.

A big hug.

Rubén

My experience throughout this course—these "gatherings and sharings," as Pepe likes to call them—has been deeply positive and enriching.

I have had the opportunity to meet wonderful, generous, and approachable people, each with very different life stories and experiences, yet all sharing one common desire: to grow, to learn, and to support one another.

When the course began, I expected to learn practical tools for managing emotions in sport and competition.

Instead, I discovered something much deeper.

I learned to view both life and competition from an entirely different perspective, understanding that emotions are part of everything we are, both on and off the court.

I believe this is a course everyone can benefit from because it helps us stop identifying exclusively with the roles we play every day: father, coach, director, athlete...

Instead, it invites us to reconnect with the human being behind those roles.

One of the things I appreciate most is that every session was recorded.

I'm certain I'll return to them many times whenever I go through difficult moments or simply need to pause, breathe deeply, and ask myself where I'm going and why.

For me, these meetings have been a genuine space of listening and openness.

A place where you truly feel heard, without judgment, and where sharing your own experiences can become a source of support for someone else going through something similar.

In many ways, these gatherings have had an effect very similar to therapy.

I always leave them feeling calmer, clearer, and with a lighter heart.

I genuinely feel that this course has helped me become a better person.

At the same time, it has made me a better father, a better coach, and a better coordinator—roles that are an important part of my life.

Without even realizing it, I also noticed that during these months I became more open with the people I love.

For that, I am deeply grateful.

If I had to suggest one improvement, I would probably include a few more in-person sessions for those who are able to attend.

The online format worked extremely well, but the energy, warmth, and closeness I experienced during the face-to-face meeting were truly special.

Those moments also gave us the opportunity to stay afterwards, talk without rushing, and build deeper relationships that are simply different when experienced in person.

Finally, I just want to say thank you, Pepe.

Thank you for sharing your experiences and your wisdom with us, for listening to us, and above all, for being exactly who you are.

You are pure heart.

You have been a gift during these months, arriving at exactly the right moment in my life.

Wednesday evenings with all of you became a small escape from everyday life—a moment to recharge and reconnect with myself.

And today I am left with one beautiful feeling:

I love myself just a little bit more than I did before.

I hope that one day I can pass on—even if only a small part—of what you have given me to every person who crosses my path, helping them, even a little, in the way you have helped me.

Borja

Hello everyone!

First of all, I would like to thank everyone who made this course, "Emotions in Competition and in Life," possible.

A very special thank you goes to Pepe for the incredible work he does.

I would also like to thank my coach, Manu Fernández, who was the person who encouraged me to take this course. If possible, I will definitely enroll in the next edition.

Thank you all.

Meeting Pepe through this experience has been something truly wonderful.

From the very beginning, I felt that this opportunity to share came into my life at exactly the right moment.

For me, this course has brought one thing above all else:

Clarity.

Clarity about who I am—and who I am not.

Clarity in observing my impulses and external stimuli.

Clarity in recognizing my emotions.

Clarity in learning how to manage them.

Clarity about why I do what I do and what truly gives it meaning.

That clarity gradually transformed into freedom.

And freedom became love.

Throughout the course, I have learned what it truly means to:

  • Love myself.

  • Accept myself.

  • Respect myself.

I feel that I have grown in several important areas of my life.

Solitude

The first is my relationship with solitude.

I already enjoyed spending time alone before. In fact, I always looked for moments to be with myself.

But now I enjoy it much more.

I genuinely have fun with myself.

I used to enjoy being alone, but my attention was always focused elsewhere.

Now I know where my attention truly belongs.

Communication

The second area is communication.

I have learned to express to the people who share this world with me who I truly am and what I genuinely want.

At the same time, I have improved the way I communicate with myself.

Before the course, I wasn't aware of how important it was to speak from a much deeper place within.

Now I can do that, and it fills me with peace.

Self-love

The third area is loving myself fully and consciously.

I already believed I loved myself.

But I never actually told myself that.

Now I do.

And I know how to offer myself love, regardless of the moment, the place, or the circumstances.

Sharing our personal experiences openly during the course has been one of the greatest gifts we could give both ourselves and one another.

I am deeply grateful for every single moment we shared together.

Thank you all.

COURSE LOGISTICS AND FORMAT

Let me explain how the course is organized.

The course begins during the weekend of October 17th and 18th, when participants may attend either in person or online via live video conference.

On both Saturday and Sunday, the sessions will take place from approximately 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

For those attending in person, the opening weekend will be held in Benalmádena, approximately 30 km from Marbella and 20 km from Málaga.

After that opening weekend, we will meet online via Zoom every other Thursday at 8:00 p.m.

These sessions will continue every two weeks until Thursday, June 24th, which will be the final session of the course.

All meetings will also be recorded.

If you are unable to attend any session, you will receive the recording so you won't miss any part of the experience and can watch it whenever it suits you.

This journey will be something truly beautiful, deeply human, and very close.

Together, we will gradually discover ourselves at our own pace while moving closer to the harmony that already exists within every one of us.

Unfortunately, our society teaches us countless things from childhood in order to prepare us professionally for life.

Yet very little is said about what may be the most important lesson of all:

Who we truly are.

And which attitudes and daily actions can help us become freer and live with greater harmony and happiness.

Together we can continue growing.

Together we can continue sharing.

If this resonates with you and you feel called to join us, we will be waiting for you on October 17th and 18th.

  • Pablo Andújar (No. 32)

  • Daniela Hantuchová (World No. 5)

  • Flavia Pennetta (World No. 6 and 2015 US Open Champion)

With some of these players, Pepe also worked on the technical aspects of their tennis.

Beyond tennis, Pepe has supported professional golfers on international tours, football players, padel players, volleyball players, and athletes from many other sports.

Outside the sporting world, he has also worked with internationally recognized singers, actors, business leaders, executives, entrepreneurs, and professionals in positions of great responsibility—roles that are often accompanied by high levels of stress.

Likewise, he has worked with people living seemingly ordinary lives who, despite different circumstances, struggle with the same emotional challenges: lack of self-love, fear, insecurity, stress, anxiety, and emotional suffering.

CURRENT PROJECTS

Pepe created a pioneering course for the Royal Spanish Tennis Federation (RFET) focused on emotional development for players, coaches, and parents.

He also served as Technical Director of the Andalusian Tennis Federation.

For three years, he hosted a weekly radio program on Cadena SER, alongside María Ángeles Cervantes, dedicated to personal growth and emotional well-being.

Together with Marko Djokovic, he co-founded the charitable project Love & Peace, whose mission is to make tennis accessible to children with limited financial resources.

He is also the Director of the Love & Peace Tennis Academy in Marbella, where children, aspiring professionals, and elite professional players all train together.

Pepe has written several books on the mind, emotions, tennis, and life.

Among them is The Art of Training Your Mind, widely recognized as an important contribution to the field of personal development.

He regularly delivers talks and conferences around the world—events he simply calls "Acts"—where he shares his personal journey and life experience.

He also gives talks during every Spanish National Championship in the Under-12, Under-14, Under-16, and Under-18 categories, sharing his knowledge and emotional experience with young players.

Pepe serves as an Ambassador for the city of Logroño, the capital of his native region of La Rioja.

He also works with companies and their teams, believing that organizations are ultimately made up of human beings and that true organizational harmony begins with the emotional well-being of every individual—from owners and CEOs to managers and every member of the team.

Pepe's way of teaching comes directly from his own life experience.

At the heart of everything he shares lies one essential principle:

The relationship we cultivate with ourselves.

Treating ourselves with respect.

Acceptance.

Kindness.

Compassion.

Understanding.

And above all,

Love.

His approach invites people to reconnect with their authentic selves, nurturing that inner being so they become less dependent on external validation and the opinions of others.

Pepe has always been completely transparent about one important fact:

He is not a psychologist.

He left formal education at the age of seventeen to pursue a professional tennis career.

At eighteen, after struggling to meet the enormous expectations that had surrounded him since childhood, he fell into a deep depression.

He developed bulimia and reached the point of wanting to end his life.

That was when his journey of self-discovery truly began.

He immersed himself in psychology books—including many used in university psychology programs in Spain and Argentina—even though he never attended university himself because he had not completed his previous academic studies.

He also devoted himself to reading extensively about personal growth, spirituality, self-help, and many related disciplines.

Yet what ultimately transformed his life was not theory alone.

It was the realization that everything began with the way he treated himself.

With respect.

With kindness.

With love.

At the age of twenty-three, he decided to leave professional tennis and dedicate his life to accompanying and supporting others—both within sport and beyond it.

Having personally experienced profound suffering has made him especially sensitive to the struggles of others and has shaped the warm, genuine, and deeply human way in which he supports people on their own journeys toward empowerment and inner well-being.

ABOUT PEPE IMAZ

Hello,

My name is Pepe.

Everything you have read so far was written by a professional writer who gathered information about what I have been doing over the past three decades of my life (wow... thirty years—it sounds so quick when you say it, yet it feels like only yesterday that it all began). He wrote a text that accurately reflects my journey and the work I do.

When he asked me to read it and approve it, however, I felt the need to write something myself—from my own hand, my own heart, and my own experience.

I'd like to share it with you with the deepest respect and affection.

What I do is actually very simple.

I simply share my own life experience.

Nothing more.

I do it because I sincerely wish to share what literally saved my life when I was a young tennis player.

That same experience later enriched every area of my life—including my professional tennis career.

When I was twenty-three years old, I felt it was time to leave competitive tennis, even though I was achieving some of the best results of my career.

It wasn't a rational decision.

It came from somewhere much deeper.

By then I had already learned to trust my feelings and intuition more than my thoughts.

So I followed that inner voice.

From that moment onward, I never stopped observing myself or working on my inner being.

It became—and still is—the highest priority in my life.

Because of that journey, I naturally began sharing what I had learned not only with the young athletes I coached but with people from every possible profession.

The inner work I share is based primarily on learning to treat yourself with love.

That means treating yourself with:

  • Respect

  • Acceptance

  • Kindness

  • Compassion

  • Understanding

Along with many other lessons that emerged from my own personal journey.

It doesn't matter whether the person in front of me is a business owner, an elite athlete, an electrician, someone who is unemployed, or a teenager.

Every human being benefits from reconnecting with their true self.

I also want to make something very clear.

Everything I share when I work with someone is not absolute truth.

In fact, I cannot even claim that it is the truth.

It is simply the path that saved my life.

It is the path that continues helping me become, day by day, a person who lives in greater harmony with my true essence as a human being and as a spiritual being.

It is also the path that gradually frees me from the unconscious grip of the ego and the character we build around ourselves—because, in my experience, that is what causes so much of our everyday suffering.

I also want to openly acknowledge that I do not have a degree in psychology.

Nor have I completed any coaching certification or any other formal qualification.

I have tremendous respect for everyone who has devoted years to studying these disciplines professionally.

My deepest respect goes to all of them.

What I do have is my own life experience.

And an immense amount of suffering...

which has become one of my greatest teachers.

My path has simply been different.

Over these past thirty-three years, I have read extensively about psychology, self-help, personal development, spirituality, and many other subjects.

I have also had the privilege of listening to countless people share their own journeys of growth.

Yet the practice that has helped me the most is something much simpler.

It is learning to observe myself honestly.

Then observing the world around me.

And finally allowing my feelings and intuition to guide me.

And do you know something?

You already possess that same ability.

So, if you'll allow me, I'd like to leave you with one final thought.

Don't believe anyone blindly.

Don't follow anyone blindly.

Don't spend your life searching outside yourself.

Because your greatest teacher...

your greatest guide...

already lives within you.

Of course, if it feels right, listen to other people's experiences.

Read books.

Attend talks.

Learn from others.

But afterward...

filter everything through your own heart.

Keep only what genuinely resonates with you.

Because every one of us is different.

And each of us is walking our own unique path.

Now I feel at peace.

This is the way I truly wanted to introduce myself—not only as a person, but as a human being.

Above all else, I believe that who I am is exactly the same as who you are:

A human being remembering the light and the love that already live within us.

Within me.

Within you.

If you'll allow me...

I send you an infinite embrace filled with respect, kindness, and love.

Pepe
